Windscreen Replacements

Changing you broken windscreen, body or side glass can usually be done through your fully comprehensive insurance meaning you only have to pay your excess. We can invoice your insurance company direct, in most cases taking away the need for you to make any other calls.

If your insurance does not cover you for glass, insurance approved discounts will be offered to you limiting the cost.

Windscreens are made from two thin layers of glass, with a sheet of plastic poly vinyl butyral (PVB) in the centre. The function of the plastic interlayer is to bond two pieces of glass together and prevent large pieces of glass from being dislodged when broken. When the outer layer is broken, the types of breaks encountered can vary. This will often mean that a replacement windscreen is required although if treated early enough a windscreen repair can be actioned in most cases.
